At Helgstrand Dressage, we have some of the industry's most skilled employees and riders. Every day, they work to take care of our horses and ensure the best training for each individual horse. We prioritize ongoing education and training of our employees to ensure that they can perform their work with the horses in the best possible way.
We comply with the legislative requirements for certifying personnel working with machinery and tools. Additionally, our team includes personnel well-versed in occupational safety regulations, and of course, an occupational safety group.
Top-Class Riders
The team of well-trained and experienced professional riders is essential at Helgstrand Dressage. Our riders have won more than 25 medals at the World Championships for Young Dressage Horses and have achieved top results up to Grand Prix level both in Denmark and abroad. By assembling a team with outstanding expertise, we can ensure the best conditions for both the development and performance of our top horses.
Expert Team
Helgstrand Dressage covers many different areas of work and employs staff from all over the world. Therefore, we actively participate in the training of our personnel together with our partners.
For example, we have a groom manager who takes good care of our new grooms and ensures that they thrive. We always make sure to pair new employees with experienced colleagues who provide valuable guidance during training. Additionally, our stable manager closely collaborates with our veterinary partner, Højgård Equine Hospital, to continuously receive specialized training and guidance in caring for sick or injured horses. Højgård Equine Hospital also regularly participates in our internal staff meetings focusing on ongoing education to ensure the best conditions in our training.
Our team consists of experts in all aspects of our business. These include, among others, financial specialists, experienced horse experts, dedicated grooms, agricultural experts, skilled tradespeople, and a range of other talented employees, all contributing to our daily work. Additionally, some of the industry's top specialists visit our facilities, including physiotherapists involved in rehabilitation programs for both horses and staff.
Young Community
At Helgstrand Dressage, we welcome young talents from all over the world. Many of them choose to work together with us to pursue their passion for working with horses, often in connection with a gap year. We also have young people here as part of their education, who choose to use their internship period to improve their skills with us.
Helgstrand Dressage takes on a significant responsibility for these young individuals. We discuss their preferred educational path, help keep track of application deadlines for many programs, and more. To support them on their journey, we have a dedicated Groom Manager responsible for ensuring their well-being, assisting with practical matters related to their relocation to Denmark, and much more.
